When I was young man a friend of the family gave me a 1950 Studebaker that was Turquoise and the paint was heavily oxidized. I spent a week polishing it and detailing the car and the paint looked beautiful, but it still was a Studebaker. I sold it for $100. A cut and buff could get you an additional $500.
