1931 Buick Series 80 - Model 87 – 4 door Sedan – full CCCA Classic. A big powerful straight 8 - 104 hp, 344 cc engine. First year for 8 cyl engine. Interior and chrome is #2 Condition, Paint is an older repaint in 3- Condition. All instrumentation works. Rebuilt Engine in good working order with Downdraft Carb added for improved running. Original Updraft Marvel carb included. Car starts, runs drives and stops as it should. Only driven locally to car shows, ice cream, car club outings, etc. We acquired this car in 2012 and have done the following to improve drivability and reliability. • Radiator Flushed & Cleaned • Gas Tank cleaned and relined • Electric Fuel Pump added (to prime carb when starting) • Fuel filter added • Rebuilt mechanical fuel pump • Replaced Updraft Marvel carb with downdraft Carb - original updraft Marvel carburetor included • Checked & adjusted valve clearances • Performed compression test – Good compression • Master electrical cutoff switch added • New points, plugs, condenser & coil • Distributor checked on test stand • Modern oil filter added Moving soon and need to sell. I don’t mind they changed it to a down draft carb for reliability but that modern air cleaner would need to go. Problem is, what would a person use to look within 10-15 years correct? 
 

I would like the car but am buried in snow and can’t imagine buying such a car, or any car, in January.
