the USPS for all mail and packages

delivered to you - you get a daily

update of the mail coming to you

thru images sent for free ….

 

I picked up a vehicle yesterday

that the owner had been waiting 

on a title to come in the mail for

a long time - the Buyer understandably wanted to wait

on the title before paying in full.

 

The Buyer contacted me early 

yesterday morning and told

me the title would be in that 

days mail …

 

So I called the Seller & he told

me he has this free service from

USPS and received an email

of daily mail delivery and there

was an image of the DMV letter.

I timed pick up late in the day 

to coincide with his late afternoon 

regular mail delivery.

 

The title was “ in the mail “ !

 

So I loaded up & was on my way.

There's an app for that!  We here in Eastern MA use this USPS online service, also.... have been for a while.

I think it is a great tool for

small business - say you

are expecting payment 

by mail & you are waiting

around to see if it is coming

in the mail that day ….

 

With this free service you

have an image of the mail

before it is delivered 

and you send your

customer proof that the

check is not in the mail.

I've been using this  for years-

It actually shows a picture of each incoming USPS item

 

When we travel, I can ask a neighbor to retrieve important items if needed,

or ask family to open important notices, etc

I like the special joy of opening the mailbox to see what came, so I don't look at the USPS photos until AFTER my mail came  It has come in handy on vacation.

My mail shows up when it wants to. Heck Im still waiting on the last issue of Crankshaft along with my judge school badge from last years convention!! I dont think anything electronic will help.

I’ve used it for a while and it came in particularly handy last week. I had thrown out a coupon for 10% off purchases at Home Depot. A few days later, my stove died and I wanted to use it for the replacement. Fortunately, it was included in my Informed Delivery, with the code showing on the scan.
