Leif in Calif
Not the color I would pick but it sure looks like a well cared for and usable example! (much more info and pics in ad) https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/grass-valley-1951-packard-200/7689481733.html Starts up and runs well. Does not over heat on a hot day. I have driven it from Grass Valley to Tahoe over old route 40 and back several times. Doors don’t sag when opened. All windows work. All lights and turn signals work. The floor boards were replaced before I got it. Brakes work well and Emergancy brake too. Heater blower works. Tires are old but fairly new and I have driven on them. Does not smoke or burn oil. All badges and logos are on car. Has a Mafia approved three body trunk.

Jim Skelly
the bodies also have to be removed from the trunk 🙄
58L-Y8
The model 2492 is the most basic 200 standard trim level Packard offered for 1951. The engine is the 288 ci which with the manual shift is a nice combination but could use an overdrive to make it even better.
