Does this panel have a name

Recommended Posts

Learned members of this forum does anyone know if this panel has a name?

It’s the small panel that bolts to the rear fenders and connects to the chassis and fits under the fuel tank cover, I am looking to find a pair for a 1920 Chrysler model 65 but I sure other models might fit.

Now how did I know that you would be the one to get me the answer, thanks very much John, as always you and the rest of members of the forum are very helpful and supportive, now if anyone might have some that they might want to sell I’d be happy to purchase.

Don't know what they call it in the parts book, but seems logical.

They are different for various bodyworks, but a Roadster one can be cut down from some other versions. I do believe I have a rotten Roadster version laying around, suitable for copying including mirroring for the other side.

Thanks for letting me know cowherd, I’ll keep you in mind should my lead for a pair not pan out here in Australia, will PM you if I need help.

An AU built body could be different to USA body.
