I read the post about museums and thought I’d share one that is near and dear to my heart, and is where we keep our personal vehicles when not using them. Set up as a

prairie village, the museum represents a small town and consists of over 50 buildings including several display buildings. Some of these vehicles are privately owned, many are part of the museum owned collection. None are for sale. IMG_5822.jpeg.551b94059344e70bce33298c064fadd6.jpeg48 Dodge 1 ton

thanks for sharing the photos of the vehicles in that museum, WONDERFUL.

The Divco reminds me of those trucks that delivered milk, and bread and cake here on long island in the 1950s when I was growing up.

Driver for the most part stood while making short trips as he had to jump out to deliver the goods he hauled.

Neat hood ornaments too that I managed to get one or two of for nostalgic sake.

Walt,

I remember as a young kid we had a milk box on the landing of the stairs coming up from the driveway. My older brother and I use to collect snakes and other creepy crawly things. That milk box was a wonderful place to keep our treasures until we released them. Needless to say the milkman didn't like that at all.

Is that a dirt floor? First time I've seen a museum with dirt floors. The undersides of those vehicles must be all scale & rust. The top sides look great.

No scale or rust- dry as a bone- recycled asphalt millings
