Brake lining material 1918 DB touring

ROMAR or Myers should but also check MacMaster Carr. They have the woven lining with the brass thread woven in by the foot.

No rivets. The lining actually looks fairly new. I just figured if I have it apart, I should re- shoe it. It doesn’t appear to have wear, but the elements seem to have done something to it. I’m    going to take the  advice that it might be asbestos, and remove it, replacing with new lining. Thanks fellas!

Maybe check the linings first?

It looks like the back side of the rivets are there.
