AdamInNH
I think the US version of the car was named the ‘Turnpike Cruiser’. The car and camper is a helluva package.
58L-Y8
The U.S. equivalent was the 1959 Mercury Park Lane four door hardtop, 128" wb., 430 ci V8 engine standard.
kingrudy
Probably won't see another one real soon. Very nice.

The car's from an era when 4 door hardtops looked even better than 2 door hardtops. Given the car's rarity and the package deal offered, I think the price is very reasonable, but I admit I don't know much about pricing on this stuff. I get the impression both the car and trailer would clean up pretty well. If I was Canadian, I would definitely go look.

The unglamourous two and four door styles with the permanent upper door and window frames were still just "sedans"...

Evidently, merely copying and pasting pictures from an ad doesn't keep the photos for very long. I have saved pictures from ads into my computer as JPG files; then, using our forum's "Choose Files" selector, put them into a posting; and they have stayed. It's great when our "Not Mine" section can be a long-lasting reference with pictures and phone numbers. I've called about cars long after I first saw an ad--5 years, even-- and found the car still available! 3
