deac
It's an infamous 49 Mercury!!! From the description the car is in great shape. However in one of the pictures you can see a big water stain on the door panel and the front seat is not pictured very well. But the dashboard and gauges look nice This one isn't chopped and is not the 2 door. But it's annoying when sellers go on a fishing exhibition and ask for offers. So we don't know how serious this seller is.... I do like the car under $20k even though I usually don't buy 4 door cars. Fossil
Looks like muffler putty on the exhaust manifold. My guess is a quick leak fix at the joint. Trying to put a price on something like this is beyond my abilities but it is a nice looking car.
63RedBrier
Why does a vehicle with less than 20,000 miles need the engine rebuilt? 2

Alfonso
In my opinion every Mercury 1949 is a beauty, a true icon, doesn’t matter if it is a coupe or a sedan! It was the corner stone of the American Automotive History! I have one in mint untouched condition and I will never chop it!

Buyer beware. What's wrong with the steering wheel? Cannot see any problem.
Fossil
Sorry my mistake. I was seeing the horn ring as the rim of the steering wheel. 🤥
