1952 Skorpion. one of only 28 ever made. looks like a Disneyland Autopia car, but this one is bigger and for real use on the street. the Skorpion was a fiberglass body created to fit on an existing car chassis, most notably, as is this case, with a Crosley. they came with a variety of different engine combinations. these bodies were produced as plastic by Viking-Craft in Anaheim, Californa. with the later style rare hinged truck, this may even be a Super Skorpion, which would make it one of only a handful in existance. this is an older restoration with a wonderful period interior. since there is no drivetrain, you can power this car any way you wish.....gas, electirc, hydrogen, cng etc. amazing solid condition and very complete. add your choice of engine/trans and go !! these are usually only found in museums, so this is a rare opportunity to obtain this car from the eclectic Dan Worsenberger collection. worldwide shipping is available. vintage automotive trades considered. see our other ads for other cars from the Worsenberger collection, such as Daimler Dart sp250, Austin Healey BT7, Interlagos and LaDawri. sold on a bill of sale.

 I'm not sure.  It is close.   But if you are gonna make a replacement body,  it should be better looking than the original I would imagine.  Else why bother?

Im not really into micro cars, but I gotta say I dont hate this thing. Restored it would make a nice addition to an eclectic collection.
