B Jake Moran
I think that’s pretty rare. Not a Bubbletop. I didn’t even know Buick made this 2 door sedan.
Jim Skelly
I saw a '63 LeSabre 2-door sedan with the factory 4-speed trans at a swap meet in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1986. It was gold with rusted out front fenders and worn-out cloth upholstery. I should have bought it. B Jake Moran
Just noticed, no PS. no PB. This is essentially a Chevrolet with a Buick body and drivetrain. I love it. I like the unusual. I no longer have the Standard Catalog. If someone does, what is the production? I would not assume much. Here's my thinking. This body would most likely be purchased in a Chevrolet or Pontiac trim. If you could afford a Buick - GM's 2nd in line of prestige - then you bought a well trimmed LeSabre 2 door or 4 door hardtop. With a 401 (I know this likely has a 401 too) PS and PB. Not saying you load up a LeSabre bubbletop or 4 door HT, but you don't go bare bones like this car. Just a curiosity, but perhaps there was no other make dealer in town for GM? Just lots of why? with this model.

A spartan LeSabre was still more bragging rights than a similar Chevy, Pontiac or Olds. It was still a Buick in the drive. I grew up in a farming community and oddly, bare bones Buicks were very popular with farmers. 1
EmTee
Well, the original owner did spring for the AM radio! Interesting car, but those skirts do nothing for it...
drhach
I have a no option 62 Lesabre that my Uncle bought new. He could have spent the same money and got a nicer Chevy, but it wouldn't have been a Buick. That's a really nice car that seems to have been well cared for its whole life.
JohnO
Looks like a gem to me. The upholstery is correct as well as the door panels. Even the speedometer looks crisp and not all faded out. Pictures do reflect a car that was well cared for.

ArcticWhite88
Nice looking, unique LeSabre. Take a close look at the rockers...looks like they have seen some "activity" The yellowed plastic on the seats is a pretty good sign in terms of previous pride of ownership and preservation. I like it!
