Crusty Caballero
New guy from Alabama. Picked up a '58 Caballero locally a few months ago from an estate and per suggestion of @95Cardinal finally getting around to joining here. Have been posting on Station Wagon forum but will start a build thread here too shortly. As found. Family didn't have much history other than grown daughters remember riding in it as kids but no idea of last time it ran. Tag on it was 1978. 4

Larry Schramm
Welcome. Really, where in Alabama are you located? Is there any documentation with the car or sticker on which dealer sold the car? I used to be the service rep for Buick in Ala in the 80's.

Larry, per @Crusty Caballero , His profile shows Greenbow, Alabama. A Fictional Place ! Greenbow AL Featured snippet from the web Greenbow, Alabama is a fictional town in Greenbow County. In the Forrest Gump film, Greenbow is the hometown of Forrest Gump and Jenny Curran. It has a few stores and a Sinclair filling station. In the novel, Greenbow isn't mentioned, instead Forrest is from Mobile, Alabama.
