Actually, Penberthy called it a (D)ouble (V)enturi, or as you stated, two barrel.

 

Their single barrel carbs were called (S)ingle (V)enturi.

 

According to my records, Peerless used at least 4 different of the Penberthy DV's: DV-8, DV-12, DV-15, and DV-17 from 1919 through 1924. My records show a DV was also used in 1916, 1917, and 1918; but I do not know which DV was used in those years.
