Wackyiraqi
This photo was taken at Benton Hot Springs, CA. I’m trying to ID the year and make of this car in order to create a presentation for the Benton Hot Springs Historical Society, our non-profit organization. wayne sheldon
May be Peerless. Most of their models did not have that "plow" style front fender. But a few did
Chris Paulsen
Definitely an Oldsmobile, probably a 1908 Model X.

1937hd45
WOW! Thank you, what a classy looking car, always loved the look of plow sheer front fenders. Bob

Steve Moskowitz
I do not believe it is a 1908 Model X, the gray one in the photo is sort of known to me. It was my car and was restored by me. Fenders on this car are different than my former car, but mine matched the only other one in existence. I am struggling to be sure of the dating though. edit: Ok, had to check out one of my files, I believe the car to be a 1907 Olds Model A
1937hd45
Steve, Since that was your car, how did things differ with that style front fender, did more or less debris get thrown up if driven in bad weather.
Steve Moskowitz
Bob, before I restored it I did drive it a bit and it certainly could throw some some mud outward, but there was still chance due to the style that some came back at the front compartment. Never drove it supper fast so I do not have lot of experience to draw from. I loved that car and it broke my heart to sell it to GM. They got a bargain. I thought at the time I was protecting it forever...little did I know.
