dodgebrother
Cool photo. Nice car, nice trailer and a full service Mobil Station. Black and Yellow California plate and a palm tree behind the station. I believe it is a 1954 Dodge Coronet Suburban in the new colour combo of Spanish Coral and Saratoga White. BHWINCVAP
IIRC Dodges only V8 was the 241 in 53-54.. 331 was a Chrysler only engine.. Cool Picture! but I bet that was a real slug pulling that trailer up hills with the whopping 150 HP
Studemax
Pictured are Bud Coons & Eric Rickman of the original NHRA Safety Safari. No idea on the two admirers. 2
JayG
NHRA. My bet is under the hood may not be completely stock and more capable of pulling the load.
dodgebrother
Thx for concurring JayG and Studemax identifying the NHRA officials I am thinking that Bud & Eric would have warmed that 241 Red Ram up a bit to pull the load and the distance. JamesR
I love that photo dodgebrother! I'm probably one of the few people who think that the tow and push vehicles in old drag strip and salt flats photos are even cooler than the race cars!

I was thinking about going around the curves and hanging out over the edge.
