65 Riv radio bezel black vinyl material

Hi Guys,

What type of glue do you use to stick the black material around the radio bezel

I use two part clear epoxy. Read directions and then follow the directions.

There are other “magic glue” wanna be, but when you are serious two part clear epoxy will hold most materials together. Metal to metal? Use All Metal. Then the dry putty like A&B 2 part epoxy works very well.

I’ve used clear gorilla glue on things like this and it worked very well. Read the instructions.

Whatever adhesive you use, make sure it goes down flat and smooth. Any lump, bump, or hump in the adhesive will show through the vinyl.  I would recommend spray contact adhesive.

Contact cement always worked well for me but the new and "improved" LOW VOC stuff available here in CA is not what it was. +1 on the Gorilla Glue mentioned as well as the spray contact adhesive (3M makes a good one).

Kevrev  is correct, but here is a tip, when using the contact spray cement, use masking tape all  around

like you are going to paint,   ---but give it  2 coats of spray about 25 30 minutes  between coats,

it will  work great.----regards.
