DFeeney
Hello, I have what I think is a 30 Chrysler Roadster Cowl section for sale, I could send pictures if you think it might be the same. Thanks, Don in central Ohio
Cooper Bird
Hi Don, I have a good cowl for the car its the rear half that I'm really looking for, but thanks anyway. Regards, Cooper
viv w
How bad is your bad body, show some pictures. To find a good roadster body will be tough, you may have to repair the one you have
Cooper Bird
I'm starting to think that might be my only option. What about finding a complete roadster project car? I imagine they would be just as hard to find. I'll try and get some good photos.
viv w
Only 6414 Chrysler 65 roadsters were made in 1929. It is generally assumed roughly 10% of convertibles survive, so the chances of finding another one are slim but not impossible.
$um Fun
Where are you located? I have a 1929 Model 75 roadster body I am parting out. There is no wood left , the hood has been sold and the doors may be gone.

$um Fun
I am in California and there are a few issues on the back half of the body. Both wheel wells are rusted through and will need to be replaced and on the right side quarter panel something fell on it when it was parked in a barn for decades and put a good size dent. I do have a back half of a coupe body that goes with it for patch panels. I am hobbling around with a broken leg, but if you want more pictures and give me some time I can get them. The body was complete and was on a rolling car that I was parting out.
Cooper Bird
Looks great! I'm definitely interested. What price are you after for it? Edited August 19, 2021 by Cooper Bird (see edit history)
$um Fun
Cooper, do you also need the trunk lid? It also has no wood left in it and in the same condition.
