a griffin
Is there such a thing? Of the last 5 or 6 '32s I've seen, the hood is opened and folded over on itself. Is there a correct hood rest for '32s?
edinmass
I had a home made one on my 32 Coupe........can’t remember what it looked like.

HarryLime
I think you will be happy with the result . I am . And fully reversible if you so wish .
a griffin
Just as a follow up, the above prop assembly was installed. I had to modify the rack to accept larger u-bolts, though. With the unit installed, the hood sits up and out of the way and does not rest on the edge of the cowl. Very happy with the outcome.
Grimy
Could you please post a photo of the installation? I'm having trouble visualizing it as installed.

dl456
These are available from any Model A parts house. They mount to the radiator support rods. Very handy to have. Mount them with wing nuts and they come off in a jiffy. Dennis
a griffin
dl456 is correct. The unit connects to the radiator support rods with u bolts. They are available at any model a supplier or summit, where I got mine. Relatively cheap at roughly 40.00. part number A6248. Comes with necessary u bolts for use on smaller diameter radiator rods. I upsized to 1/4"x3/4" u bolts to fit over the Pierce rods. Sorry, no pictures. I'm not the greatest at remembering to take a photo when I finish a small job.
