DB26
Hello everyone, If you saw my post in the General forum, you know I just bought my first porcelain sign. I just received it the other day and thought I would show it off to my fellow Dodge Brothers. It is a very very well worn double sided Dodge Brothers Approved Service Station sign. I’ve given it two separate scrubs with some “Bar Keepers Friend” cleanser. I think a few more cleanings are in store before I mount it on the wall. Here is a photo of both sides: Edited January 18, 2020 by DB26 Title change (see edit history)

Mattml430
That’s pretty cool I’ve been looking out for a dodge sign for the shed. At the clearing sale a Golden Fleece sign went for over $30,000. They’re getting very collectible the old signs.
DB26
Here are a few more photos I took today. It looks less yellow in natural light.
Bullfrog_eng
Great looking sign. I have not seen one like it in Australia but they could be around. A couple of years ago someone posted one similar on this forum and Taylormade expertly reproduced a perfected copy. As I am unlikely to come across one (or be able to afford it if I did!!!), I had a copy made for my shed. Looks nearly as good as the bloke holding it.
