MCHinson Posted October 24, 2019 Share Posted October 24, 2019 There have been large numbers of foreign spammers registering and sending such PMs recently. The moderators are trying to deal with it. I just looked and has vanished, not in my private e-mail or private deleted file or on my notification here. I guess if you look at it and they can tell, if no reply right away somehow they make it disappear. Ah the wonders of the computer age. Cal. MCHinson Posted October 24, 2019 Share Posted October 24, 2019 If you just saw an email notification and then when you went to the forum you could not find the message, it was a spammer who was banned and the system deleted their spam messages when they were banned. Evidently, quite a number of people received such messages, and the moderators took strong action to try to stop the fraud. The advice to report the message is good. They tried to sell Christine and there were eighteen pages about whitewall tires, white sneakers, and women's shoe sizes. And one guy from Kansas asked about the silo.
