Steve Hagy
This car was assigned to the Fire Chief of Cincinnati in the late 1940's or early 1950's. It looks fancy to me and a retired firefighter told me many years ago that he thought it was a Lincoln. He also said that it was painted forest green. I sure wish I had a better, and in color, photo of this auto. As usual I would like to know the make, model and year and any other interesting tidbits that this fantastic group can come up with. Thanks for looking. Steve Edited June 14, 2019 by Steve Hagy Recd additional information (see edit history)
Bloo
It is indeed a Lincoln, 1946-48 I think.
Dave Mellor NJ
I'd say a GMC panel behind it
Fleek
I had the same thought as Dave, but it does not have the parking light under the headlight. So not sure about GMC.
58L-Y8
Its a 1946 Lincoln by the hood 'vents' trim, possibly hexagonal hubcap centers. The hood ornament would have two short wings in the speared ball.
sagefinds
That guy looks as COOL as Humphrey Boghart.
