Larry Schramm
My guess is this might be a Cadillac about 1912, but that is a big guess for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
nzcarnerd
Possibly a Hudson?
keiser31
I think the running board is too long to be Hudson.
Larry Schramm
Any more ideas? Again thanks for looking.
Stude17
Circa 1912 Overland?

nzcarnerd
Can't find a pic for evidence but, maybe a Cutting?
Grandpa
Could be a circa 1911 Chalmers. The Chalmers was made in Detroit.
Grandpa
Catalog sketch of a 1912 Chalmers. The lights shown on the sketch differ from the unknown car. However, the lights used in production may have been larger.
Stude17
More specifically an Overland 1911 model 46 roadster?
Spinneyhill
I don't think it has the wee curve on the bottom of the front fender. The Overland looks pretty close to me although the photos I find have brass radiator. Here is one from conceptcarz.com.
Stude17
Spinney I believe can see the curves (duck bills) you refer to on the front mudguards. Also the front dumb irons are joined with a bar as in your photo.
Grandpa
The front and rear wheels and the shape and size of the rear fenders on the Overland differ from the unknown car. The unknown car appears to be a larger car than an Overland.
gwells
Ten-spoke front wheels and twelve spoke rears, which ought to help narrow it down. And notice the difference between the front and rear hubcaps.
nzcarnerd
Those features you mention - wheel spokes and different hub caps, are typical Cadillac of that era. Gas lights means no later than 1911 if it was a Cadillac. Problem is that Cadillacs in 1911 have only five hub bolts. This car has more.
