Cranes420
Hey I have a old Plymouth truck bed that someone made into a trailer just trying to see if anyone has use for it before I scrap it. I think it’s late 30’s ???

TerryB
Plymouth pick ups were made 1937-41 in the US market. My guess is yours is 1937-38.
auburnseeker
Are Dodge beds the same? Of course the gate would be different. It might give you a wider market if they are.
Cranes420
Not sure was just hoping someone could make good use of it, that’s kinda what I thought late 30’s Edited May 26, 2018 by Cranes420 (see edit history)

I’m almost certain they are the same as Dodge. I had a 1937 Dodge MC half ton and was told it was the same. I never had the chance to compare one side by side with my truck. If it were closer I’d make a planter out of it for my yard rather than see it go to scrap.
keiser31
Private message sent. If I lived closer, I would get it just to hang on to until someone needs it. They are getting scarce. ESPECIALLY that tailgate. Edited May 26, 2018 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Cranes420
Do you guys know any in Colorado that might want it’s probably won’t scrap it maybe just sell as a trailer I was just hoping to find someone that needed it for a restoration. I’d hate to see that history go to waste. Edited May 26, 2018 by Cranes420 (see edit history)
Dave Mellor NJ
I have a 33-36 Chevy bed like that, maybe a little better. It has the round Chrysler front axle under it
dodgedave68
HI - Any chance you would ship the tailgate to Dallas?
