Gene Brink
Wow hard to pick just one as I lust for three (at least 3 for the longest time...). In order of preference they are '65 Riviera, '65 Skylark GS, '67 Electra

Pilgrim I have your dream car! It's going to need some detailing though. Edited March 3, 2018 by Our Buicks (see edit history)
Rivman
I’ll throw in here even though I spend most of my time on the Riviera forum. I am pretty certain I have found mine. It took over 20 years but this ’65 Riviera GS is what I have been looking for for quite a while … I do like others, I am partial to the 1958 Buick and mid-70s 2 door Electra’s, but I figure at this point I will be lucky if I am able to get my ’65 GS to where it should be.

Same color and very similar overall to the one my best friend's parents owned when I was in my early to mid teens. Now, I have to say that I think #2 will have to be a '38 Century (doesn't have to be a convertible...) #3 would definitely be Chris's '61!
Beemon
My grandfather had a 1941 compound carbureted Century that I think would be fun to own. Other than that, maybe something with a 401/425 or a 430 would be fun to drive - something to spin tires with without dropping in low around a right hand turn. 3
dmfconsult
I’m not sure how you guys are narrowing it down. The more I think about it, the longer the list gets! I never thought I’d like a 78 Estate Wagon, but it’s definitely grown on me. I can’t even narrow it down to pre or post war cars... I guess any Buick is my favorite ?. The one Id like to have though is a copy of my fathers 56 Century in Tahitian Coral, probably just to see his face as I rolled up. jframe
I have mine. Wanted one of these since I was about six years old, and saw pictures of the Midnight Blue one my Dad bought new at Krajenke Buick in Detroit. We took me home as a newborn in it, moved to Alabama in it, and he finally traded it in 1971 as a six year old used car with 90,000 miles and rusted rockers on a new 1971 LTD 2 door hardtop. But that Riv was IT for me, and always has been. It took 40 years of wanting one, and being in the right position at the right time to get this one, but I finally got lucky 2 1/2 years ago, and bought this. It has 66,000 miles and drives like a dream. All original except paint. Without a doubt, one of the BEST cars on the road, and a dream come true for me.
