Guest Tomh115
Front end reminds me of a early 51 Mercury Monterey but the rear looks a lot like the 51 Ford Victoria. Were the two brands interchangeable back then with some parts? Or am I off completely. For everybody who has helped so far, I greatly appreciate it. My grandmother sent me these old photos as encouragement to help me finish the father/son project my dad and I started years ago (a 57 Chevy 210 resto-mod). Ben Bruce aka First Born
I am going to say a '50 Ford with a Mercury grill. Ben
Guest Tomh115
If it is a 50 Ford, the hood was also changed based on the 49 and 50 Fords having the bullet in the middle of the grill/hood. Not that I couldn't see him doing that after the 36 Ford that he modified.
Fleek
The parking light looks like a 51 and the chrome strips from the taillights look 51. Think it is a 51 ford with a mercury grille.
