Curti
Can anyone tell what the application is? This carb. was retrofitted on a 28 Dodge Victory 6 I once owned. I found a correct Stewart and used that.
Matt Harwood
I think most of them were used as replacements for the Model A Ford's Zenith.

Curti
Thanks for the replies fellas. Unfortunately I will be unable to go to Hershey this year, as my wife has fallen quite ill. Normally I would put this stuff out on the table. For now I will have to be content with the Buy/Sell section. Stuff is always easier to sell when ya know what it is. Dave Mellor NJ
It's similar to the ever popular Model A replacement but it wouldn't work what with the cable actuated butterfly. It definitely fits the Chevy better

Gunsmoke
For Chevy application, throttle/accelerator is actuated by steel rod at back side of carb, barely visible in photo. The 2 cables shown are for choke, and to provide a small amount of throttle for starting only. If I recall, the throttle set up (an adjustable lever) allows the accelerator to be used on either side of carb, and from above or below the throttle rod, making it reasonably universal. I bought this one on eBay 6 years ago NOS for $45. A correct restored Chev Carter Carb would cost about $500.
