Looking for a 68 Buick 430 carb to fuel pump fuel line

I am looking for a full length carb to fuel pump fuel line for my '68 Riv. Someone cut mine about 12" from the carb to install an inline fuel filter. Does anyone have a line on any of the tubing companies that may manufacture a reproduction unit? Does any one have an extra one for sale? Since the '69 has an electronic fuel pump, I am assuming a line from this model year will not work?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I just purchased a new fuel line from Inline Tube.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Once again I did not get a fuel line that matches what I have in my car.

My Inline Tube line is not going to fit on my engine. It's close to a match below the power steering pump, though it is too deep to attach to the fuel pump. Above the P/S bracket it completely diverges away from the engine and is hooked to the right on the end, as if for a side port carb. Advice to others, don't buy this tube from Inline Tube. See photos below:

I hope Inline Tube will take this back for a refund.

FYI: The TA SST line will fit a Stage 1 pump which is slightly deeper than a stock 430 fuel pump.

Mr. Hunter,

Is your carb. a side inlet?

Thanks

There were two carburetors used on 68 Buick 430 engines.  Early engines came with a Rochester Quadrajet #7028240 and late engines came with a Rochester Quadrajet #7028248.  There was no mention as to what date determined whether the carb was early or late.  If you don't know where to find a carb number on a Quadrajet,  there are plenty of sites you can Google.

the type you can easily strip the fuel filter threads on

This must be what happened to my carb because someone JB Welded the fuel filter housing to the carb, cut the carb to pump line and installed an inline fuel filter between the line and the carb.

I have purchased another carb because I figure it will destroy my current carb if I were to try to remove that attached fuel filter housing.
