NC-car-guy
Pretty sure this car is from here in Durham. I looked at it over a year ago, on 4 flats, not running, full of rat nests, no title and the guy wouldn't take less than 2500. Now it's running and holds air in the tires. http://wilmington.craigslist.org/cto/5926893663.html Ad text: Looking to free up some cash. I have big plans for this car but just don't have the time to mess with it. No title but I've got names of previous owners. Does run and drive, carb needs rebuilt and needs brake work. Carb is currently off the car. Looking to sell for $2000 OBO or trade for something bagged or old and cool. I'd really like an early 50's GM truck ☎ (607) 857-5444
SpecialEducation
Runs & drives with no carb or brakes? Sounds like a fun ride!
60FlatTop
I guess Craigslist ads really are supposed to be for local use. Up here in this neck of the woods I read he would trade some something bagged I immediately thought of a skunk or a woodchuck. And I live right in a town with 10,000 people. Imagine what the country folks thought! Bernie

Brandon Todd
Pretty nice car for $2,000! But sadly no title. I don't know about elsewhere, but here that equals a major headache when it comes time to license it.
NC-car-guy
Lost title is a pain here unless you have the last registered owner with you.
EmTee
If carburetor and title issues are so 'easy' to fix, then why do these sellers NEVER resolve those problems and raise their asking price accordingly...?
NC-car-guy
If this car had a title i think his price would be good as is. No price raising on this...
60FlatTop
I'll trade you a bagged skunk for that car with no title." "What am I going to do with a skunk in a bag?" "I was thinkin' the same thing."
