Spare Tire mount 1923 Dodge Screen Side

The lower mount for the spare tire on my 1923 Screen Side has been cut off and I need to replace it.  It is the mount that attaches to the body.  It should be the same for 1920-1923.

why don't you just make--take a front sidemount  hardwear & turn it upside down-gook luck

The lower part is what I am looking for and a clamp.  Someone cut three inches off the end which should be threaded.  If I don't find one I plan on welding threaded rod  to replace the cut off end.

Your picture shows me for the first time how the drivers side curtain works.  I thought it snapped in but it looks like it is fixed at the top and then rolled down and snapped.

Interesting question about the dual plates.  I noticed it too.  One of the plates is for DC and the other for MD.  Back then, who knows...  Maybe some States required that any vehicle being operated in that State be registered there.  Now I know that DC isn't a State but you know what I mean.  And maybe Virginia had no such requirement.
