Amphicar BUYER
That dent will NOT just pop out. It is clearly creased at the bottom so there will be that stretched metal and cracked paint (once you push it out) to deal with. You can probably push most of it out, but to be done properly but It is going to require some bodywork and paint to be right

60FlatTop
Could have been worse. At least you got home to make the video. Some made all their videos at the scene. Bernie

Restorer32
Always wondered why if the Professor could make a radio from a coconut why he couldn't repair the boat.
Guest Skyking
Love the video and love the car!! Unfortunately things happen that we have no control of. I had an incident at a car show years ago where some kids were throwing rocks from an above area at the show. By the time anyone could reach the vandals they were long gone. I had Hagerty at the time and they told me to have a body shop give me an estimate even though they new I was repairing it myself. I had the check within a week. I don't forsee any problem with them. Chris, I use Hagerty and had to claim an attempted break-in on my locked '89 Cougar here in Canada. An Adjuster came out, verified the damage and within two weeks had a cheque based on factory cost replacement parts. The process was not worry some at all. I think you will find they are not your usual insurance company and understand your car is insured to be fixed back like it was. My only problem is finding the correct door seal which seems to be buried in a warehouse somewhere and not in someones computer inventory.
mercer09
definitely should be "spooned' out by a professional. no need to bang it out and fill it. yes, the color match would be the bigger problem in that case. have used PDR and they are great!
