Paul Falabella
Heads up.Just spotted on eBay. NOS light switch. I don't think a replacement is available. Kinda big money but they don't come up that often. eBay item number: 252379080870
Ttotired
As light switch is a bit of a generic term, I had a look and its a headlight switch to suit 54-55 Buick. Beemon
Do these items tend to brake down over time? I only ask because mine originally didn't work until I cleaned some corrosion off with scotchbrite.
Bhigdog
They are pretty bullet proof. Lack of use and corrosion are it's enemy. Panel dimmer rheostat corrosion is it's weak spot..................Bob
buick5563
I think that is Lance's auction. May be a little steep, but if you need one, you need one. After looking for a decent one for my first car, I started hoarding em.
lancemb
Yes indeed that's mine. Based on what I had to pay to get one for my 57, it's not unreasonable. Go ahead and do a search to see what someoneis trying to get for a 58 switch on there right now. All proceeds go right back into my old Buicks. It helps fund my hobby! buick5563
I paid handsomely for my first NOS 55, Lance. Found one in a badly set up auction that went for $35.
Paul Falabella
They don't come around too often, that's why I noted it. I don't think there is any other replacement.
