48Super
I thought you folks might enjoy seeing some pictures of the 1966 Wildcat GS Convertible I just bought about a month ago. I was looking for a 60's convertible to replace a '48 Super Convertible which I had for 31 years and sold last fall. The Wildcat came from North Carolina and is unbelievably rust free. The previous owner had extensive work done to the car including media blasting the frame and floorpan. The underside of the car is immaculate, you can see every spotweld and every nook and cranny is clean. Except for the carpet and dash covering, the interior is original and very nice. The car is well equipped with AC, PW, PS, AM-FM Stereo, Tilt Sport wheel, and chrome wheels. I've been working on it to correct some minor problems and do some routine maintenance. It runs and drives very well but it is BIG. I feel like I'm driving an aircraft carrier. I'm looking forward to making further improvements and summertime cruising. JZRIV
I wondered when you got it after I saw you posting looking for parts. Beautiful car Mike. Sounds like a rock solid example throughout. Nice contrast to your stunning 65 Riv GS.
