packick Posted January 15, 2013 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Greetings:Does the emblem (shield) in the 1955 Buick trunk handle come apart? Mine needs some paint touchup and it looks like the clear plastic facing detaches from the back side thus revealing the shield for painting. I spent nearly 20 hours on one and still had hairline cracks that would not polish out....that's the stuff you do when they are not available. I'll sell you that refurb for half price.
