Well I mean for perspective I've had buddies of mine go "DUDE I saw YOUR car the other day I swear it was the EXACT SAME CAR I couldn't believe it" *details are expounded upon* "Yeah I don't believe it either seeing as you clearly saw a '47 Olds :P

Its not uncommon for people to take the year of tilte (manufacture) as the "year". and not the "model year" which started in Sept 1938 for 1939 Buicks

The VIN 13439187 is in the 1939 model year sequence

Has the small wiper transmissions, so consistent with an early production 1939 model year

PAUL, where ya been man? Haven't heard much from ya here lately. Good to see your post, they're always enjoyable reads.

I reckon he's got one of them GIRLFRIENDS!! no time for his old mates anymore.

But I'll second that Mr Earl, good to see you're still around Paul - thought you may have shown some interest in the 1938 self shifter discussions?

Looks like a great example of America's premium motorcar!

The only problem I see is that the exhaust system is "Busched"....

Most appropriate vehicle for SUICIDE DOORS!!!!!!!!

Its now back on ebay with the correct model year information

Buick:eBay Motors (item 290377369629 end time Dec-10-09 15:49:54 PST)

His $40.000 buy now price is a little optmistic

Maybe he added a extra "0" in error.

Last time he had a starting price of $15,000. Would struggle to get that IMHO
