Ted "Wildcat65" Nagel
I'm crazy about the 1965 Wildcats because their cool style and it was the last year for the big cars to offer the 4-speed transmission option. So in searching the country for 4-speeds I've ended up with 3 of them now...The first one is documented in another thread, second one is the convertible, now the 3rd one just showed up on the v8Buick board a month ago - a "real" Super Wildcat Custom convertible with 4-speed. Once in a lifetime purchase (I keep telling myself) anyway thanks to the folks that found and directed the previous owner to the v8Buick site where I saw it. Ted "Wildcat65" Nagel
I've been sorting through the boxes of parts I got with the car and am going to take the stainless to get polished. Many NOS bits for the car, including front red floor mats, new trunk material, new front grill, new Wildcat scripts, new front emblem, rear emblem, tissue dispenser:DLooks like it was originally from Colorado: Edited October 19, 2009 by Wildcat65 (see edit history)
Ted "Wildcat65" Nagel
I took all the stainless to be polished yesterday, my Body Man is working on the trim for the 69 GS350 3-speed this week, when he is done with that I take the convertible over and pick that one up. JZRIV
I responded to your post on this over at V8Buick as well but its worthy of posting here too. Man you scored huge on this one. That is an unbelievable combination with the 4 speed and super wildcat engine......Oh yea, that convertible thing too! I'm afraid you are going to have a problem topping this car. Please keep us updated on the progress. Did you decide to take the body off? Will you paint it the original color?
