The doors sure look like they fit nice in the pictures. If you wanted to restore one, this might be a good one to start with.

That's got to be it, just looked to big in the picture. Looks like owner cut in a gas filler door in the rear fender sitting on the floor.

Surfing FB, looking at cars for sale. Came across this Chrysler convertible for sale. And I am trying to figure out what the car next to it is? Has a very distinct body stamping on the door. Can someone identify the year and make? It was tough to part with my 38 Imperial coupe. Cleaner look to the front end.

I could never warm up to the look of a 37 Chryslers front end.

Did Chrysler in these years only use one side mirror? You never see a car with both side mirrors. Did mirror placement on the fender make a passenger side mirror worthless?

I think 34 was the first year for suicide doors on a Hudson?

Any photographic evidence of the first vise grip door handle? Not wanting to get off topic on the question. 1929-31 car in my opinion. Looks close to a Hudson. Body stamping was similar on a lot of cars in that time frame. Someone on here will ID it.

It looks like it has a push/pull door handle.

It has wire wheels inside the car.

Does not even compare to the story in Idaho, still waiting.

Deal was made for the car. I refused to drive it down the hill. Stated several times the car has no brakes. Seller drove it down the hill to my trailer. Where purchase would be completed. Car never made it to my trailer. If the two people I was with decided to ride in the car. They most likely could have been killed. They are up there in age. The dent on the leading edge of the dash board was caused by the drivers head. As he was thrown onto the passenger floor board. He did have a big goose egg on his head. But no blood or injuries. Walked up the hill dazed. Crazy how that whole deal unfolded. You could see it coming before the car was even started.

The car had nothing to do with me. A customer was going to buy it. Tried to talk him out of it. He agreed to buy it. And as you can see. The deal fell through driving down the road to the trailer.
