  1. I sent this to the Tucker club but no response.
  2. Thanks, but I was looking for the number of the car.
  3. Wow! You win the most 394's posted in a single post award.
  4. I found this in a 1957 magazine. At that time it says this car was in Norwalk California. Does anyone know what number car this is?
  5. If the car was a true Tucker, when it was found you would think the owner would want all the experts to come and verify the authenticity of the car. At first no one could see it then no one could take pictures then a body shop owner buys it and claims he has a letter from the Tucker company. Where is this letter? If I had the car I would want everyone to come and see it to help me document the car. Then they put it on Ebay for 5,000,000.00, come on.... bottom line is there trying to create hype with their hoax!
  6. Nice work! I'd rather be driving your citicar then these smart cars I see in my town.
  7. Nothing but good things to say. The parts I need with fast service.
  8. Thanks for the reply and keeping their memory alive. It means the world to me and my family. We are trying to keep their legendary car enthusiasm going. We have a 1964 Olds Ninety-eight right now. You should check out our pics, the motor is VERY "Talarico" SOOOOOOOOOOOOO clean. Thanks again and best wishes to you and yours
  9. Anybody out there who knew the Talarico brothers (Elmhurst, Il)??? I am Joe's daughter Margaret. Looking for some good stories, old pictures etc. that you might share. My uncle was his twin brother Jake. Thanks Margaret My father was a Buick club member in the 80's/90's. Any info is greatly appreciated.
  10. Don't ever give up on a Roto-Hydramatic. You take care of your Slim Jim and it will take care of you.
  11. I'm not sure what your working with but, in general the smooth side goes to the hood and the rough side goes to the engine.
  12. I don't think any Rap Stars belong to the AACA,the audience here are mostly true collectors. If you post some pictures of the inside and show the radio situation (meaning to show if holes are cut out in door panels or dashboard) you might have some lookers.
  13. Oh no ! I have mud all over my new shirt !
  14. Great to see all those cars the way they were !
  15. Thought I would share this with everyone. It's my Grandma's Oldsmobile .
  16. Wow , It's a mystery ! From what I get,the car does not crank just clicks right? If you took a starter and a battery out of a car you know works you gotta think it's the wiring in the starfire. It does sound like a weak battery or a solenoid but it sound like you ruled that out and you have a different problem. I don't know of any other relay that could interfere. Without seeing the car I can't think of anything else.
  17. We may need a moderator on this subject . Chuck dont be so hard on yourself 61oldsguy and starfire61 are very similar .Both avatars compliment your passion and you represent both with distinction. Oldsmobile....Where the action is ! Nick
  18. I think the oldsmobile comunity needs to pick a topic to keep Paul busy. Then he can have a great self worth about his new moderator position. Nick
