1. Nope, just the adjustment under the driver floor pan.
2. I find myself with time, in between rocket attacks and while waiting for the all clear, to think. Today I started thinking about ECM issues. I would like to use the ECM from a 91 SC Park Ave (same as the 91 Reatta) in my upcoming swap. Reason being is it can control the bypass valve and accounts for vacuum on the SCed engines thus increasing fuel economy during low to moderate throttle. It has been stated, the data stream change in the different years. I am wondering how we know this to be true. Has any one tried to see if the data stream will communicate with the BCM? Reasons for my doubt of a change: 1) I know the E&C buss did not change. Yes it is a different data stream but it is constant through all GMs in the years it was used. 2) The code readers all read the data stream with no changes even when using the cheapest readers. (same data that is communicated to the BCM) 3) GM is cheap why would they change something that is common in all models? Does not sound like a GM thing to do. 4) If there is a change is it in the memcal or hard programmed in the ECM? Any one have input on this?
3. I just came accross a place in MI that has 7 Reatti and is fair on prices. They are expecting three more to come in shortly, so at the risk of missing out on a couple parts I will need shortly, here is the contact info. Complete Auto and Truck Parts, Inc. USA-MI(Flint) E-mail 1-888-235-9100 If you do use them tell them SSG Daniel McKinney informed you about them, as they are very supportive of the military and I believe that is worth more than a buck. Also I have no affiliation with them, but would like to let them know their support is appreciated.
4. That is way too high, I was quoted $100 by four places thus far. Plus $50 for shipping, most of that is bc it is going to HI and nowhere uses USPS. It would fit in a large flat rate box and only cost $15. Kind of kicking myself for getting rid of the one I had.
5. as long as it has the fire wal conector I can make it work, plus it will be modified/simplifide for my swap whe I get back to the states. How much are yo looking to get for it with shipping to 96789?
6. Any one have a 88/89 reatta or rivi engine harness?
7. is this the part you are looking for? Standard Motor Products DS478 Windshield Wiper Switch | eBay
8. permatex sprayon fabric adhesive.
9. If yo are carefull the retainer can be reused with no issues. I have done it several times with success. If yoiu breake it I would not know where to start other than the dealer, good news for you they were used on many modles, but I will bet you have to get the full cable fo the clip.
10. What about disk eject in park? when I look at doing a deck it would het the shifter. Could work around but I like my solution better than fighting with the disks and shifter.
11. Every other oil change from new, in all my cars. Add when the engine is cool and run five minutes. The inside of my valve covers always look new, and when I get an old abused engine it seems to clean them up pretty well in a few changes.
12. Yes it can be done, but a much simpler solution would be to change the dome light and others to LED. Lucus had done this on his and it is easily three times brighter than my interior lights.
13. I know things like this happen all the time, but usally it is from not following the correct steps. always start withthe car that is running neg on first positive on second then due the same on the dead car People will argue with this piece; always hook directly to the battery, period. Reasoning; the battery is the source, you will get more current and lees likely to have an arc event damage anything else further in the system. Now for the people that will say the battery could explode hooking directly to it. Yes that is a possibility, but usually happens when you are not paying attention and hook things up backwards. Even then it is not instant and give many warnings prior to happening unless you are jumping a car with a full battery. Over all keep your head on your shoulder and do it right and you will not fry anything.
14. spray some gas/starter fluid (perferably gas) down the intake and see if it fires. if it does you know it is not a spark issue, and you can move on to fuel.
15. You can also wire in a adjustable fan control, hayden sels them. Or you can make a couple jumpers and have all your fans kick on at the lows fan setting. I did the second when my outer fan took a crap.
16. With a 165 mine runs at 188 in HI, but that will drop if I reprogram the fans. At HWY speeds it drops to 178-182.
17. when is the last time you replaced your O2? The coolant sensor is a more likely cause but The O2 can go bad in some odd ways. Also yo stated that the injectors where serviced. the cleaning agents used to do that service can damage the O2 also, weather they were removed or not.
18. sounds like a bad/ grounded abs sensor

You are going too far and it can be done much easier. this took one afternoon.
20. I do not have access to the part numbers for the spacers or the washers. I ordered used ones from a fiero parts place. New washer is here The Fiero Store and the kit for the fiero bushings is here Prothane 7502 Engine Cradle Mount Bushings Motor Mount Inserts | eBay. It is posible to get just the cradle bushings that fit, but you would have to go through a prothane distibutor. (There is not one in HI) but I am sure it would not save too much on total cost. Like I said these are available and that is the important thing. If you are restoring for a show car I am not sure if they would doc points for using these, but my current Reatta is not for that purpose and it serves for my current use. I am sure that we will see alot more of this part substitution in the future as no one is making OEM replacements for much of these cars and I do not see that changing ever.
21. The spacers, washers, and isolators from a fiero will work on all three locations. They are a little wider but fit. Being wider they probbaly hold up just a bit better and the if you can find the stock isolators, they would most likely provide more isolation. The one I will be installing are polyurathane so I expect a bit stiffer response. Also they are available.
22. Wow I have almost half of these wishes and am on my way to most of the other half, after my little Afghanistan trip. BTW this is meant to get you guys up an do your own mods and improvements, not to say loom what I got. ( except those of you with low mileage original Reatti)
23. Are ceramic even avalable for the stock reatta front? If I recall I could not find them when I looked. If they are not, the grand am front conversion would be a good choice for him as they have ceramic availabe and fit the stock wheels.
