  2. Rex I have several of these dog bone shock links with no numbers. Is yours the type with two halves bolted together with a rubber cushion? or the Ford style ?
  3. I have a large number of parts for these cars.(over 20.000 different items) . Send me part numbers and I can check if I have them.I also stock over 3000 small parts such as clips ,springs etc. These are all inventoried by part number.   5. The cable kit is to open he right side vent door on the 1949 cars and was an option for people that had short arms and could not reach the vent door control. You can tell it was meant for the 1949 cars because of the clear plastic knob. I think it would retrofit 1947-48 cars but the knob would not match. The bumper guard bolted over the original guards on 1950 commanders to install over riders. Robert Kapteyn
  6. I have a reprinted parts manual for 1923 -24-25 that I bought from Studebaker International , Book 4 all models. It is 1 1/2 " thick.   8. A large 12foot "STUDEBAKER" dealer sign was stolen in Lockport , Illinois during the weekend of March 17/18 2012. Also two antique gas pumps were taken. A large dealer sign is hard to hide. Rex I doubt that I have the linkage you need but I have a complete engine with the original aluminum head and the internal parts of a 1935 engine (Dictator) from another engine that had a cracked block.I saved the oilpan ,crank,cam etc. Email me if you need anything.   18. This question has come up several times. John Shanahan has posted a good post regarding this. Use the search function of this forum to see many posts on this with very good suggestions. One item I want to add to a previous post that hitting the hub puller with a hammer is that the hit should be inline and on the head of the puller bolt. Hit it on the head and turn the puller some more. Sometimes it takes time. I once tried to pull a stubborn hub and gave up late at night but left the tension on the puller.
