The fan and defrost knobs, and the temp and air levers look very 1953/54 Plymouth/Dodge. 1954 Dodge has a similar panel but there is a third lever for vent, and the fan and defrost knobs are elsewhere on the dash. Also, the defrost knob on the '54 Dodge just says "DEF" and is an electrical blower switch rather than a cable drive like this one.

What if you were to loosen the allen screws and remove the knobs? Might there be a number on the back of the knobs, or down in the rim of the housing that the knobs are hiding?

I'm guessing this is late 40s to mid 50s because the wires for the blower resistor are attached by screws rather than a push on connector. Sure looks like it would fit a '55 Chevy, but their controls don't have those big knobs. Wish I could place it.

Hard to tell. Do you see any part numbers? What would you like it to fit?

That is not just any old Royale Brougham, but an LS, which used the previous year's 98 Regency Brougham interior (except for the door panels). But... That is not an '85 grille, which leads me to believe it's been crunched in the front. Also, the upper body chrome moldings are missing.

I think you should check out the '54 Lincoln prestige brochure. None of the instrument panels look gold to me. One page refers to small gold stars on a pearl gray background. It would be nice to see the document. 733 was the code for red leather interior for DeVilles. 98 was the code for Damson Plum Firemist paint. This was a recommended combination. I was thinking T could be an accent stripe color, but there is no T listed under stripes. The only T I found was for Buckskin vinyl roof color. All the above information was obtained by viewing 1977 Cadillac dealer album listings on eBay.

Someone posted about this in one of the Facebook Olds groups. He made a deal. Went with a trailer to pick it up. Car was on the trailer. Owner says there's no title...

That's because in '61 they offered both trim levels in 2- or 3-seat configurations.

Somebody wanted an Olds wagon with all the bells and whistles, but needed the third seat - so they had to get a Dynamic instead of a Super. For some reason they only offered the upper level wagon with two seats. Probably the only reason it doesn't have power vents is because they weren't available on the Dynamics. Interesting that it has TWO radio antennas. The driver's rear quarter is the stock location of the power antenna on the wagon. Whatever is on the passenger's front fender doesn't belong.

I am looking for a book that was in our elementary school library back in the late 70s. I can't remember the title. It had the AnyCar and AnyCar II in it. I think it also had the George Barris Oldsmobile Toronado limousine in it. Last time I had it in my hands was 1980. I'd like to find a copy for sentimental reasons. Anyone know what book I'm talking about?

Glenn, No cornering lamps, no fiber-optics, no power antenna, no litter basket. Rear bumper is tweaked on the passengers side. And who knows what evil lurks under that steering wheel wrap - not factory.

In addition to a power seat, I see air conditioning and auto pilot.

Blake Cadillac-Olds would become Titus. Titus would become Brenner. I bought my '68 Delta Custom Holiday sedan from Brenner in 1990. According to the Protect-o-plate, the original color was Teal Frost with a Parchment vinyl top. Interesting options - discs, power seat, cornering lamps, power antenna, 8-track, power trunk (despite the screwdriver sticking out of the lock...) - no air and no floor console - too bad... I don't see an engine option on the build sheet. Build sheet dated 10-17-67, deliver date 3-5-69 - she sat on the lot for a while.
