I was really happy to get the interior of my car done over so I could take those seat covers off of the car. They were NOS and still had the creases from the folds, they did the job but they were not my taste. As nice as cars were back then, the interiors were nice but the seat covers that they put over the seats should have been installed in "ClownCars". Merry Christmas Guys, Stevo

Don, Don't you just love the "experts" that will tell you about something that is not quite right. I had a BCA member who is also an AACA member who was judging Buicks that I did not have the correct hose clamps on my car. I told him that I really did not care because the ones on the car did not leak as the original type did. To make it short, a 48 Buick beat my 46 for 1st (I was taken down to 4th), the 48 had fenders that looked like washboards, worn out rugs, and enough grease and grime on the engine to make it difficult to see if it was the correct engine. I like mine the way it is. Stevo

Why would anybody not renew their dues because of a paltry $15 increase? The dues might be $50 but that is in reality only $15 more a year. Suck it up and pay the dues, the magazine, friendship and being able to jerk everybody's chain here on the forum are worth it. I know you do not have to be a BCA member or AACA member to join the forum but remember, it costs the AACA and BCA along with the other Marque Clubs to keep this going. If everybody that partakes of the BCA part of the forum joined the BCA, we would be home free. Just my 2 cents worth. (there is no cents sign on this computer). Stevo

Gentlemen, I have been following this thread and without any doubt, this ranks up there with the best of them. It sure looks like this forlorn Buick is about to be adopted and renovated. Once the final adoption has been settled, we will need to see an ongoing picture story of the rebirth. Congrtulations and all the best to all that are involved in this project. In my opinion: This type of commercial is absolutely useless. Before your eyes can focus in on a scene they are changing it. Besides, who wants to look at the non-car scenes. If I am going to buy a car, show me the car. By the way, Tiger made a couple of cameos in this commercial.
