Rusty's right. Ask them for a copy of the "build sheet". It will cost a few bucks. Walter P. Chrysler Museum

They are also called stake sides.

I'll bet at least one is a Cadillac since the sign on the window says "Cadillac".

Do not be embarrassed...we all learn on this site. And yes...we will cut you some slack because of the "girl" thing. I know I will get into trouble for saying that.

Does it actually say "GT" on it anywhere? The engine should say the size on the air cleaner.
-
They didn't and it is not a GT. If it was, it would have "GT" on the door panels inside. That one looks to be a "170" or "270" Dart.

If you just need one to fill a hole, here is one for about $5.00 plus shipping. It has cracks. The escutcheon is stuck. John

'Steering column' headlight switch
keiser31 replied to Chris Coon's topic in Automobiles and Parts - Buy/Sell
All of the Chrysler products had them from about 1929 to about 1932 (that is a guess...I am not familiar with earlier or later switches). Best to look for a hotrodder maybe on the H.A.M.B. site and see if they will give one up since they don't fit tilt-steering columns. A few years ago, I sent my light switch to a guy in Georgia that had a 1931 DeSoto. He said he was going to reproduce them and send me mine back plus a new one for my other car. Never heard from him again. As far as I know, he is still using it on his DeSoto. I guess he needed it more than he thought I might. As luck would have it, my friend Dave had an extra one and sent it to me. -

I can show you what it looks like, but I don't know where you will find one. Hen's teeth comes to mind. I know where there is one on a 1932 Plymouth in northern California, but the guy won't separate it from the project car. DRATS! -

I have no idea who owned it other than it was on an AACA tour and I loved it.

Roger's handcrafted 1:12 scale models
keiser31 replied to Roger Zimmermann's topic in Our Cars & Restoration Projects
O.K...Roger...when did you hollow out the undersides of the valve covers? I see brackets to hold them on, but I don't remember seeing how you did the routing...or did you? -
I was thinking "Only 18 more and we'll have a 20 mule team".
