    On my way

Well me and my brother inlaw are on our way. I grease change the oil check the rear check the transmission. All fluids are up and ready to roll. I have to stop in Raleigh for some personal business and I will be there Wednesday morning about 8 AM. I hope everybody has a safe travel by air or car or truck be safe and let's have a great time. Have a great Buick day Frank
  6. Hi and welcome back. I have to agree with Bill. Get that baby up and running and enjoy the hell out of it then make a decision whether to enjoy drive in it or keep it in a garage and worry about it. I've done both with my 55 roadmaster I always worried about her lots of stress. But with my 40 century I just enjoy driving it in the nice weather. But that's just my opinion. But again welcome back a very very nice car. Have a great Buick day FRANK
  7. i am looking forward to it have a great BUICK day frank
  8. Boy do I agree with you Mike. I can drive by 1940 century without an electric pump in 60° weather. Let me try and drive just 20 miles in 75° in that big old Buick would stop dead in the 3rd Lane. I learnt to put the electric fuel pump right under right rear door and go right through the mechanical pump and most people know I drive her everywhere but without that pump on A A A . I recommend a electric fuel pump on all straights just for safety and peace of mind. Have a great Buick day FRANK
  9. I will be there by the grace of God and Buick. I've attended at least six or seven national meets and enjoyed every one of them. If you compare them to cruising nights it's definitely wrong. These are all Buick shows all Buick people some of them live and die for the 400 point judgeing some live and die for custom Buick's some do trailer and some like me love to drive their cars. My point is we all must love a buick because we saved them from the trash yard and that what it's all about. I myself enjoy the ride yet some years it's expensive and some years it's not too bad. Even when I break down and I do if it's not a major motor transmission job I can fix it and get on the road that's part of drive an antique car. I know I'm a little bit fortunate in being retired and having the extra time a wife that understands(but don't like old cars) but I too have the same money problems as everybody I just start saving the day I get home from the last national so I go again next year every dime counts in my jar. So yes I'll be there as I said before my handshake and a smile on my face is for real. PS. Asking Brian does he need any help is like asking a priest does he need any money. So ask them and I am sure he will appreciate it. Have a great Buick day Frank
  10. :)Hi everybody. First let me congratulate our new board members I sent them for the time that they're going to serve the Buick members of this great club. I also want to thank all who have run for the office of their choice. Congratulations again to all. That being said our Minuteman chapter informed us of the votes just yesterday(always on top of things) but maybe someone can post them here so everybody can congratulate the board. Thank you in advance. Have a great BUICK day Frank
  11. Hi. I can't seem to find any information on the after tour. I know I discussed this and read it somewhere but I can't seem to find where it was. Can somebody tell us all about it. Thank you. Have a great BUICK day Frank:)
  12. Hi everybody. Let me start by thanking everybody that gave me advice on how to fix my station wagon (that I truly enjoy) especially NC REATTA this was right on the mark. I brought the 652t gm vats bypass kit and installed it and presto the car started right up. This is just one of the reasons I enjoy the Buick forum there are probably too many reasons why I enjoy this to say. But again I thank everybody on the form for all they do and say to keep our Buick's running. When you see me walking around the field of a Buick show the smile on my face and the greeting I give you are for real. Have a great BUICK day Frank
  13. Got a 1995 Buick Century for my wife(good trade ) it only has 100,000 miles one owner and always cared for in Buick dealership. Real clean car. $1200 since we became snow bunnies she needed to keep the car up north and one down south. She thinks I overpaid for the car but it has cold air-conditioned very good heat full leather seats overdrive transmission very clean car. Tell me that I'm right so it will be my turn to say I told you so have a great Buick day Frank (PS see you all in Charlotte)
  14. Thanks everybody. This is why I really love this form. I ordered the 652 CGM vats bypass kit it will be here Monday or Tuesday I will keep you guys informed. Can't wait to hear that roadmaster fire back up. Thanks again to everybody. Have a great Buick day Frank
  15. Hi guys and girls. I am having a problem with my 1994 estate wagon. I want to go out yesterday and no start. At first I thought it was a dead battery but after going through that I figured it was the starter. So I jumped the solenoid and the car started with the key in the on position but died out right after I took the jump wire off the starter. I noticed the pass key light blank in. So here I am going through the process of elimination(that hurts) went to Buick made a new key, not that. Check all fuses okay. Drop the steering column removed and replaced ignition switch. Cannot figure it out still don't work. If I keep the wires on the starter it will stay running but of course the starter is still engaged. Any suggestions I sure miss my wagon. Have a great buick day Frank
  16. I'll be there with toes on my bells. Mr. early only rule I can remember for the newbies if they want to be involved in the swap all they have to do is to bring a gift no more than $10 even a re-gift will do. It is a lot of fun I've enjoyed it for years and I'm sure they will. Frank have a great Buick day.
