  1. Nicotine withdrawal is NOT the time to work on cars! Any mileage is fine. I have state inspection this month and need to have a working cluster.
  2. See new post for instrument cluster. Nicotine withdrawal is not the time to work on car.
  3. I think I'm affecting Hemi with my mistakes. I have 8 valve head. I have had a series of stupid moves afflict me in the past few days....years? Sorry if my affliction is contagious Hemi!
  4. I did FOUR mistakes in a row and thus need the above. No I will not tell you how or what I did! I'm in St. Louis. Send me a price shipped to 63043. Mo. where the rain won''t stop.
  5. Turbododge.com. Underneath the TC body is a Dodge Daytona. Far out there means that very few try add a turbo to the V6 since the 4 banger can put out a lot of horsepower on it's own., Start reading Turbododge and Turbo-Mopar.com. There are 2 parts suppliers for adding hp to the 4 cylinder engine.
  6. On TurboDodge they have a section for turboing the v6. Kind of far out there.
  7. Send an email with good pics of the interior and no rust to the Maryland Ins commission with cc to the insurance company. Include prices of current sales asking prices for comps. That will get some action.
  8. Yep. It is a double flare. I wouldn't know this except I just got rid of the Teves. The Calipers are American single flare and the proportioning valve is double????????????
  9. red is used aboard ships at night because it does not affect your night time vision.
  10. "All to often I refer to the actuator as the master; force of habit, but should you need to shop for a replacement, you will need to look for the part by it's proper name." I'm surprise Hemi didn't give me a head slap for saying master cylinder! Hi Hemi! "new Master cylinders" give you a warning in cold weather when they start to fail. The rubber is stiffer in the cold. Now a rebuilt will not give you that warning. There is mention of a couple reliable rebuilders on the forum but I don't know who they are. You should also replace the flex lines on the brakes! Our 41,000 mile car cooked both rear tires within a week from flex lines that caused the rear calipers to drag. By cooked I mean the tires got hot enough to blow out the sidewall.
  11. I bought one last summer with 41,000 miles. You will need to replace the flex lines on the brakes and completely flush the brake fluid. If the leather seats are good, you are ahead of the game. Find a mechanic in the area. Turbo-Mopar is for Turbo Dodge enthusiast. They can help you where you are.
  12. That's not my first mistake on these cars unfortunately. I thought all the cars without the suck through system had bovs! I just had to go open the hood of my 88 TII Daytona and take a peek inside the air box. I'm from the Show Me state after all. I'm too lazy to look at my 87 Shelby Lancer. Yep, I have one of those too. Now that I have the brake conversion done on the purty TC, and the turn signal problem fixed on the winter TC, I'm going to finish the 87 Chrysler Lebaron GTS engine and get it sorted out. Then the Shelby Lancer is coming in the garage for a rebuilt engine with hd parts.
  13. Ace Extreme climate rubber tape x small gep ribbed profile. 12 year warranty. 53620 I was trying to pull a bulb on the right rear and broke it.....soo I pulled the housing. The white plastic around the bulb had melted and shrunk around the bulb ...............sooooo I went to the parts car and pulled the housing from that car. The rubber seal on both was bad...........sooooooooooooo I went to Ace )is the place. I found this stuff. Just cut it with scissors to the proper width and stick in place after you clean the rotted seal off. Only down side is it's white which shows on the side at the trunk lid. You could hit it with black paint before sticking it on. If I ever get to a meet, I'll bring the roll along since it is enough for at least 30 cars. AND my left turn signal problem was a poor connection at the bulb in the front.
  14. All TII have the blow off valve in the air box to prevent compressor surge. The TI up to 87 did not need a blow off valve.

It's INSIDE air filter box.
  16. Did no one mention that the tops tend to leak at both ends and a little weatherstrip foam is the solution?
  17. One is a silver canister the other is down below it. Lower hose goes to a tee near the front of the air box. You need a small clamp on this line at the turbo. That fitting is smaller than the other end. I think this is for the blow off valve in airbox. The two lines out of the firewall are different colors. Black line goes to vac source coming from rear of intake. this one should have a check valve in the line. white goes to heater control valve under air box somewhere. I just finished installing a the regular Mopar braking system in the car and had to hook these up again!
  18. My pads were a little too thick also. Just gentle tapping got them in place.
  19. What parts do you need? I'm in St. Louis with a parts car. I have pulled the left fender and bumper and headlights for another car. The seats are rotted. If both seats are good, it's worth 325 minimum bid. Do you have a pickup and the room to store it for others needing parts? NC should be a rust free car.
  20. Funny you should mention that Hemi. A couple of years ago I stopped at a gas station in Hannibal Mo. Two cars pulled up on the other side of the pumps. First one had opera blaring on the stereo. Occupants were in the finest Jersey clothing and hair styles. The second car had two gorillas to guard the occupants of the first car. I couldn't figure out if they were on the way to Lake of the Ozarks or Branson........ Maybe they just wanted to see Mark Twain's home?
