  1. To Whom It May Concern The owners of a rare 1958 Studebaker Champion are looking to sell the vehicle and were wondering if any members here would be interested or know of anybody who may be? The vehicle is an absolute one-of-a-kind and incomparable with any restored vehicle. It has original factory plastic on the seats and has done just 75 miles - it is a brand new vehicle with an intriguing back story of a jilted lover which led to the vehicle being stored for the past 57 years. If anybody is interested in purchasing this vehicle, or might know of somebody, would you please respond to anonymousstudebaker@gmail.com. Thanking you in advance. Kind regards, A. Studebaker PS: Apologies for intrusion to your forum - I realise it is for vehicles older than the one offered.
  2. So, I was having some brake issues (pedal going to the floor) on my 1963 Riviera, and ordered a variety of parts, including the master cylinder (shown here). Then, my mechanic said I needed a booster as well--but the problem was that I couldn't find a booster anywhere, only a booster/master cylinder combination. Unfortunately, by the time we figured this out, the shop had lost the original packaging for the first master cylinder I purchased, and I couldn't return it. Brand spanking new, never installed, $100 including free shipping to the continental US (other locations negotiable). Prefer Paypal, will take a personal check (or, if you're in the Detroit area, we can arrange a live meet and I'll drop $10 off the price). Message me if interested. Thanks!
  3. Can anyone tell me anything about this horn? , how to tell if it is legit?, If it is an antique or just a copy. I would like to sell it and woul like to know what they are worth Thanks in advance Robert
  4. Hello Everyone, I am completely new to TCs, so all of your advice and perspective is much appreciated. I've been in contact with the owner of a 1989 Chrysler Maserati TC Convertible with about 22,000 miles on it. Here are the specs as provided by the owner: Cabernet and Ginger < 22,000 miles 2.2 L straight 4 Chrysler K engine New battery Condition: Good -- mechanically sound (according to owner)Hard Top: Excellent (SOLD SEPARATELY) Tires: Need replacing Damage: Faded paint on hood, minor scratches, rust pellet on driver's door, faded patch on left side convertible top. Rear window automatic up/down not working but there is a replacement motor not yet installed. He said it was his mother's and she rarely drove it. Unfortunately, it has been living outside since then (perhaps seven years?) He said he has driven it a few times in the last four years. Needs fluids changed etc. and tires replaced but otherwise should be good mechanically. So he says. What should I watch out for? I'm going to take a look tomorrow. Any information that I can arm myself with would be much, much appreciated. His asking price was $2400 to get it all in working order, and $1400 for a "tow away today" sort of deal. Thanks!
  5. 1926 Ford Model T Coupe, black, clean title, all steel body, full Jaguar front and rear end suspension, Donovan built All-Aluminum Polished Small Block 350 Chevy, wire wheels, etched glass. Was my dads, looking to sell it or get into something different. Make an offer! Will sell less motor.
  6. Hi everyone! I had posted this car in a sale thread about a year ago, but decided to hang on to it and see if I could fix some of the minor things that were wrong with it (like the heater and wiper motor). Thankfully, I was able to get the parts needed so I'm very happy to list this again for sale. I have to say, it was really fun working on this with a good friend of mine who knows his way around a car. Sadly, I still have to try to say goodbye and sell it. I just don't have the time to enjoy it, and waaay too many other hobbies! Anyway, it's a 1960 Buick Lesabre 4 door hard-top. It has approximately 78,000 mies on it, and is located in Columbus Ohio (43081). The exterior looks pretty good, with some bubbling/rust on the lower edges of the sides, and signs of an old restoration spot on the passenger side near the front door. The interior carpet and seat upholstery really need to be restored, but the interior is still fine for driving around town. There is a slit ATF drip from the transmission seal. The engine is the standard 364. Other than that, I don't tend to drive it that much but it starts up and drives around town just fine! I'm asking $5000 for it, but I'm more than willing to discuss any serious offers. I have the title as well as the Preliminary Chassis Service Manual and the larger Chasis Service Manual. If anyone is interested and would like more info and more pictures, please email me at daikins@columbus.rr.com

As for some of my remaining "to do" list on it- The parking brake works, but could use a good tightening to the cable. There is also a slight ATF drip. 10. Hello, I have a Buick Dynaflow automatic transmission that came out of a 1962 Buick LeSabre with a 401. This is an open driveshaft style transmission, not a torque tube. The transmission was pulled from a good running/driving car. Includes torque convertor and dipstick tube. Asking $150 or offer, plus shipping. Local pickup is also welcome. Located in Nebraska 68701. Please email me if you'd like more information. Have a few other Buick parts I will be listing later. Thanks!
  11. New to this forum... if this isn't the right area, apologies. I have the pleasure of finding a new home for family restored and owned 1938 Ford Coupe body off restore. Looking for help for an honest appraisal or even base starting point. I'm not new to classic or antique restores, ownership or sales, but this one is different. Many, many mods, new parts, rebuilt parts, etc. etc. The main problem is I am in the CA bay area and the car is in Lake County, near Clearlake, CA. If I can successfully get this done online or in person with a list of everything on, in, and around the car, great! If not, well, then I'll just go from there. Comment or PM for interest and I will add additional details. Have a nice night!
  12. I inherited by grandfather's 1956 Ford Mainline Tudor this past year. The car is completely original with the exception of being repainted at some point. The I6 engine has 30K original miles with a 3 speed on the column transmission. I'm not sure what my brother and I are going to do with the vehicle since neither of us have the time to maintain it or place to store it. Can anyone provide some info on the current market value of the vehicle, desirability to collectors, and maitenance costs. Thanks!
  13. I have what I believe is 1929 Stutz Blackhawk engine block and transmission for sale. If you are interested, please e-mail me or call 845-796-3707. Thank you, John

  16. My 1989 T2 cabernet w/ tan top and interior was my first car and I still love it, but the repairs have become too costly. It isn't in great shape at the moment, but could be with some TLC, or used as a parts car: some rust on lower body panels, clearcoat is a little rough in some areas, rubber bumper trim falling off, engine sometimes starts but not always. Brake master cylinder and power booster recently rebuilt, but now the brake lines are rusted and leaking. Top was professionally replaced about 6 years ago after hail damage and still looks great. Hardtop in good condition; minimal bubbling in windows. Leather generally in good condition, but seats show their age. I have all repair records since I purchased the car (I am the 2nd owner) and original tool kit and crystal key are there. Also included would be several vintage articles/sales material/etc. Please email for pics and make an offer. -Jordan Hackenberg jordan.hackenberg@gmail.com
  17. Hi, I'm looking to sell my late father's 1955 Packard Patrician. He bought this car new on Oct. 1, 1955 and drove it until he bought a Lincoln Continental in 1966. It sat out on the lawn for 7 or 8 years until my brother took a hand at fixing it up. I know my brother had it in running condition and drove it occassionally until the early 1980s. However, he is notorious for never finishing a job and the car still needs extensive work (for example, the inside door panels were removed again). The car has been in inside storage since the early 1980s and, to the best of my knowledge, hasn't been driven again. My mother has asked that I find a buyer for this car with a real love of Packards ("a good home" is how she put it). The car is located in Salem, OR and I can be reached at ben@bcwebhost.net. I've uploaded some pictures I took. If you're a collector or know someone who might be interested, please have them send me a message. I'm also looking for suggestions on pricing. Thanks, Ben
