  1. Just seeing if you are on the ball Hemi. Yeah right! You caught me again. 203273 is the correct number. I have only made 2 mistakes in my life and Hemi caught me on the second one............Make that 2 million mistakes. ..............in the last 6 months....
  2. I need the push/pull head light knob!!!! I am missing the metal clip INSIDE the knob.
  3. Oh no! Here are 3 more. 201298 1989 Royal Cabernet Ginger SOHC parts car 201175 1989 Royal Cabernet Ginger SOHC on the road winter car 434231 1989 Red Ginger SOHC on the road mint summer car with Daytona brakes
  4. I have a summer and a winter TC for my wife. The winter TC got whacked by 2 1/2" hail. Then I saw an ad for another that turned out to be a mint TC for $3,000
  5. no TC's have suffered in the flood of 2015 in metro St. Louis! I think I might be able to sell a boat of two. The sad part is that most of the people flooded are poor.
  6. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The knob is mine. They are parting that car. So if anyone in Ca. is looking for parts....Give them a call. Prices are on the money, Tool kit still there.
  7. I need the black knob that goes onto the headlight switch shaft. And the metal clip inside the knob.
  8. If you can't score there try one for a Jeep. That's what I did.
  9. I think he was probably referring to the body stiffness without the top on. The car is based on the Daytona but inside the rocker panels is a thick channel of steel that keeps the body rigid.
  10. don't try that on a new car with automatic stability control! The first time I did it, the asc "corrected" the swerve AFTER I did. I thought the car was going to flip.
  11. I still wonder where the mower blade on my garden tractor went 20 years ago.
  12. The pirelli sidewalls are softer and get rid of any cowl shake. It's hard to describe; It's like a luxury ride with great handling. The Goodrich had great traction and wear. One thing is if you make a panic stop. Goodrich was a block tread pattern. You get a feel in the steering wheel as each block in the tread hits the pavement. No problem just a characteristic. i made a panic stop one time on a tar and gravel road to catch the view of the Mo. river. When I started up the car didn't want to move. I saw that the tires had peeled up the tar and gravel and it was like a wheel chock in front of each tire.
  13. I recently put 2 Pirellis on the front of my TC and the ride is great! I used to like Goodrich but they are a harder ride.
  14. Power steering fluid IS flammable! You have a hot turbo there by the starter. And probably a lot of flammable gunk underneath/
  15. If you are mechanical? Get a Ohmmeter at Harbor Freight. While the door panel is off, check the voltage to the window motor. then set the tool to ohms and see if the motor is shorted. 0 ohms means a short. A fuse will not affect one motor only.
  16. Either that or someone yanked too hard on the outside lever and bent the rod inside the door out of shape. I had that on one I bought 2 years ago. Mopar had metal clips on the 70's cars that don't break. junk yard inventory.
  17. I think a lot of the real Maserati's have Chevy small blocks in them because of the cost of rebuilding the engines. If I were younger than 71 I might jump on one but I have enough on my plate already. To be honest, a 2.2 hybrid with a 2.4 16 valve head would be easier to source parts for. I'm not going to do that either. I'm also not going to buy a new car with stop and steer by wire with no mechanical connection.
  18. there is a list on the Yahoo site maintained by Ghosty Mosty.
  19. Hemi will stomp on me if I'm wrong, but the gauge should read 1/2. It sounds like the thermostat is to cold!
  20. I found one from a post on the old Yahoo site. Thanks anyway.
