  1. It will not fit. Your car requires a 48-3524.
  2. Leonard, I can answer your questions and help with parts. Please call 724-926-8265 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern time. Jon Anderson
  3. Mount Rushmore is great, Crazy Horse is better. Yellowstone is great, Grand Tetons are better. Mount Hood, Crater Lake, Yosemite, Pacific Coast Highway, Bryce Canyon. Museums: Gilmore in Michigan, Air Force in Dayton, Nethercutt and Peterson in Los Angeles, Speedway Motors in Nebraska. Hit some of these and you will have a great trip.
  4. I have both 1935 and 1936 Fords. This item is the spare tire face plate for a 1936 Deluxe Ford. It is NOT for a 1935 Ford. The spare tire face plate for a 1935 Ford has an open center that shows the wire wheel and the locking hubcap on the wire wheel.
  5. What arrangements have been made for food on the field? Thank you.
  6. I am interested in the spare tire cover for my 1936 Ford. mmajma@comcast.net
  7. The wire loom with the long "legs" and the right angle ends is correct for '35 Ford and is installed on the right (passenger) side of the engine. The other loom is a later replacement style. The correct left side loom will have the same length legs as your right side. Parts and information can be found on the Fordbarn site and the Early Ford V8 Club of America site. There are several Regional Groups of the EFV8CA in Oregon that will be glad to help you in person.
  8. One field flea market in the foreground, show cars in the stadium and on the baseball field, "modern" car parking (those modern cars are now in the show) around the stadium and a few in what became the Chocolate Field, airplanes parked at the airport/White Field.
  9. Ford serial numbers had a star in front and a star at the end so that additional numbers could not be added. A well restored 6 volt system will start the truck every time. There is no need to go to 12 volts. The Fordbarn site and the Early Ford V8 Club of America site have parts and information for your truck. Congratulations, and enjoy your truck!
  10. I have a pair of '35 Ford water outlets, $50 plus shipping. mmajma at comcast.net
  11. The trim rings and the trunk emblem are for '50 and '51 Ford, and the V8 emblem first appeared on the '51 Ford.
  12. There were significant changes in the station wagon seats halfway through the 1950 model year production. The second and third seats for 1950 late production and for 1951 folded down; 1949 and early 1950 did not. You will need to look for the fold down style.
  13. AACA Senior, Early Ford V8 Club Dearborn Award. Columbia, Radio, Luggage Rack. New old stock fenders, runningboards, grille, much more. Jon Anderson, McDonald, PA 724-926-8265
  14. You are correct. The two with the round top of the trumpet are '35 and the one with the flatter top of the trumpet is '33-'34.
  15. They look to be '35 and '36. You should be able to find some part numbers in the castings which would begin with "48-".
  16. 1936 Ford frame for sale. Straight and solid. Located near Pittsburgh, PA. $500. 724-926-8265 9 AM to 9 PM EST.
  17. "B" means V8 engine. "1" means 1951. "LU" means Louisville assembly plant. "126635" is the sequential serial number assigned at each assembly plant starting with 100001. The lower line is not as legible. You are correct about the body code. The other numbers are the paint and trim codes. These details are in the 1949-1951 book published by the Early Ford V8 Club of America.
  18. The VIN actually begins as 18- with a consecutive assembly number following. The number 21115324 has one too many digits. If the 4 is actually a star symbol that begins and ends the number, then a number of 2,111,532 would indicate assembly in July, 1935, where numbers ran from 2,066,819 to 2,142,481. July production would be about 3/4 of the way through the production year. If the car has any original glass that is not cloudy, you may be able to see a month and year code in the Ford script oval.
  19. Looking for transportation of a steering column from Melbourne, Florida to Pennsylvania or Ohio
  20. THe Rotunda existed in that form from 1953 to 1962, when it burned. "Dearborn Holiday" was the event in the summer of 1959 when Ford dealers went to Dearborn to see the new 1960 Fords.
