  1. I need new parts connecting the pitman arm to the "drag" link. Mine is worn and cannot be adjusted any further. It is a little too lose. Anyone know where I can find the appropriate parts. Internet search so far has not been successful. Only king pin, tierod ends and the cross bar. Note names of some parts may be incorrect. Help would be greatly appreciated. Successful help will be rewarded. We are back on the road after new rad core installed. Thought is may need replacing. Fan blade made the decision for me one day.
  2. Have an oil pump. Believe it is good. Will check if you are interested in that. I have a backing plate for your water pump that is good. The small hole belongs there. FYI - if the inside of the backing plate is still good yours is probably OK. Not sure about your pump shaft. Does not look good. but may be ok in the bearing areas. Does your shaft have any play in it or are the bushings good? I do have a spare but not willing to part with it until I can find a place to get new bushings. Let me know.
  3. Are the rear window regulators for the back windows of the 4 bolt hole type? I need a right side one for a PA 4 dr sedan. Thanks How much. also what do you want for the cranks. Please add pictures
  4. I have a 31 Plymouth PA with a Carter DRT-08. Car ran fine for about 40 miles accumulated in 4 or 5 short trips. It stalled as I was putting it back in the garage. Now it will start and idle but quits immediately if the throttle is pushed. Have removed and cleaned the carburetor. This included removing all jets and blowing out the passage ways with carb cleaner. After reassembly there was no change. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions, options. We have very little driving time left here in Maine and I would like to get it running again as soon as possible. Thanks. Dale
  5. For sale left rear fender of a 1931 Ply coupe. May fit 32 and other makes. Reasonable offers accepted.
  6. Sorry but no ideas. Question is however what size packing. some years back I read something about a certain size Teflon packing material using three pieces with the open ends staggered. Any recommendation on size of packing? Teflon or other material?
  7. Thanks - it does fit under the gear shift. Will make that change tomorrow. Now I only need to find a sedan left rear fender. Will be off and driving soon with what I have!
  8. Hi Installed rear fenders on my 31 Ply PA the other day. "Right" one first and then the left. They look identical at a distance until mounting. The left fender I have has a tighter radius than the car. Could maybe be made to fit with some cutting and pasting. More skill needed than I have. I believe the left fender I have is for a coupe. So for sale a 31 Ply coup fender - appears to have never been mounted before. Need a decent 31 Ply left rear fender for a 4 dr sedan. See pictures
  9. Need a decent left rear fender for a 31 Ply 4dr. The left fender that came with the car looks in general shape exactly like the right one. However on attempting to mount the left fender I found the bolt hole patter is wider and the curvature is greater. From some earlier discussion I believe this is a coupe finder. It is for sale as it would take more effort and greater skill than I have to make it fit. Pics attached. Included the "right" fender which lists what it does fit. Not sure if it is accurate.

  11. Reply to PLY33 - My gear shift also mounts the cross member which supports the back of the transmission. However the cross member has no mounting holes that will accept the e-brake. keiser31 - Your picture is excellent. Similarity ends at the brake band,. Have attached a picture of what I have. The only attachment points I find are two on the side of the trans and one on the side of the bell housing. I assume that I am missing brackets which mount at these points and hold the e-brake mechanism. Picture not attached as I can't figure out how to. Input much appreciated.
