Anyone ever install a Pertronix on a 4 cyln.12 vt if so where did you install the wires,(I'm confused)

The part that goes into the hole in the body has an angle cut just like the handle bars on a bicycle when you tighten it up it expands in the hole and holds in place

Good luck finding them took me 15 yrs.to find a set and they cost more than I care to admit to.I was told they have to be for a 25 or 26

That's the same switch my 61 Chrysler has on it

You have to remove the spring in the shift tower.Removing the spring is a Bi$*h

You have to pull the top of the Transmission.I wouldn't try to take the lever out of the Trans.once you have it out.

My generator on my 29 DeSoto decided to break the rear housing so I put a 6 vt GM one wire alternator on it best thing I ever did, the battery is is charged back up before I get to the end of the block.(I just don't open that side of the hood)

The rust under the trunk was normal for those years,they do make a repair panel for that

I cut the heads off 2- 5/8 bolts and put them inside the heater hose it looked hooked up but it wasn't and it stopped the heat.

I figured while i wait for my electronic conversion to come in the mail Iwould adjust the carb.what do the mean adjust until I hear a popping noise while rapidly opening the throttle.

Took it for a 20 mile drive today ran like a new one got 6 blocks from home started acting up again,left it sit with the hood up for 20 min started it made it home looked at the points again and they were starting to burn again pulled the condenser apart ( i had sent it off to be fixed once before it wasn't the same mf) going to mount a newer style on the outside and see how it does then.More to come.

Well I dressed the points again and took it for a drive just now it never missed a lick.Had the top down and ended up in a cloud burst man did I get wet !!!! Don't know what I did but it seems to be fine now.Thanks everyone. Rick & the Chicken

Yes one wire goes to the connection where it comes into the dist.and the other wire goes to the the one side of the points that doesn't have the arm

My condenser has 2 wires ?
