  4. If the plate on the cowl are stamped 27-27 you have a 4dr closed car Std.model as in the picture. Leif in Sweden.

  7. Just remember the "nut"on the opposite side is left threaded if you are going to remove the speedo adepter.The inner axle has to be taken out from the opposite side too. Leif in Sweden.

  9. Maybe you will be dissapointed now when I have told what I have used on this "Buick",but i have "restored" a lot of cars so I hade to anything different and fun this time from my old parts lying in the shed. The chassie and engine are Buick anyway. Leif in Sweden.

I don`t think you ever can imagen what kind of car parts I have used on this "Buick". 3 Huppmobile fenders,1 Oakland rear fender,Willys Knight hood sides, Chevrolet 1957 carb,(6 volt electric fuel fump)new made rear end from rear of the seat,top from an onknown 1920s touring car,cutted off to fit this Roadster,new made seats cutted off from Buick1956 spare parts I had in my barn, 1924 Buick 4 cyl.cowl withe the wall against the engine reverced, The body is lowered 2 1/2" inch and body is narrowed a lot too, you can see that on the rear fenders.I have change the distributor to a Volvo 164 models,the flat fan belt is now a V-type.The sufflett are used from a mid 1920s Studebaker 5 seat touring. It´s missing the stripes just becuse the I haven`t decided what color I want to stripe with. Leif in Sweden.
  11. I spoke to a late teens Hudson 1917-1919? owner,he sad if the bezel had been a little bit "ornamented" it could have been Hudson,the house looked as on his Hudson. Leif in Sweden
  12. After 1 1/2 year in my garage the Buick 1927-24 "special"is inspected by the Swedish "bilprovning"today 2017-09-21 without any problems. Leif in Sweden.

  15. It looks like the Canadian and Australian built 1924-1925 Buicks has the licens bracket below the head light,the same as the US built started with in 1926.Second picture Evert Magnors Canadian 1924-35 with a Master radiator. Leif in Sweden.

  17. Terry,Hard to say,but it could be for a rear side window? Pictures of the bracket inside the upholstey,and the rear side windows can only go down around 10" becuse of the shelf just ower the inner fender. Leif in Sweden.
  18. Hugh is right,this`s a 1927 Master ser 40 ,47 or 48 model 120" Wheel base.This type of Amp-Oil gauges was only used in 1927 on 120"wb. Leif in Sweden.

  21. 5 jetback.You are right i have those rails on my convertible. (50jetback wrote; believe but cannot confirm there is additional reinforcement to the X frame and side rails on the convertible chassis.) Leif in Sweden.
  22. I should say they are very close to each other,maybe a few less body mounts on a 2 dr.HT than on a Convertible. Leif in Sweden.
